Well, I have good news and bad news. Bad news first. This week has been quite the week. I’ve been rushing around with what seems like a million things to do. I like to think I can do it all, but at the end of the day I’m not Martha Stewart. I had to let something go in order to maintain my sanity. Unfortunately, that something turned out to be preparing a blog post for this week. Sadly, this Thursday I don’t have a food review or recommendation for you. Whomp, whomp.
Moving on to the good news though! Even though I was extra busy and somewhat stressed/frazzled/running off caffeine, it was for a good reason – I’m going on vacation! 😊 Between work and every day life; booking flights, train tickets and accommodations; mapping out a rough itinerary; Passport renewal woes (long story – don’t ask); fraudulent credit card charges; making the necessary arrangements to keep things in order while I’m away; and packing for nine days in one carry-on, I’m rather tired and in need of a vacation. This morning I’ll be boarding a flight and off to new adventures and good eats. I’m anticipating having some great pictures and food recommendations to share with you when I get back.
